How to make graduation NAME CARDS



It’s really not that hard.  Just follow the steps below.

1.       Open Microsoft Word document

 2.       Click on Insert


3.       Click on Text Box







4.       Choose   Draw a Text Box


5.       Click on the text box you’ve drawn
6.       There will be blue squares on the perimeter

7.       Click on Format










8.       Go to Height / Width and change to 1.5 x 3


9.       Click on Text Wrapping



10.       Choose Square.  Square means you can now move the text box around in the document.

11.      Create another text box (Repeat steps 2 – 10)
         Format it to 1.1” x 2.6”








12.   Click on the down arrow to the left of Change Shape.  Choose the style shown below.












13.   Format your choice of color by clicking on Shape outline
14.   Choose your desired color

15.   Move the 2nd text box into the 1st box
16.   Format 2nd box to the front  


      17.   Create 3rd text box (Repeat steps 1 - 10)  Format to this size 


18.   Format the 3rd box outline by clicking on Shape Outline, then No Outline


19.   Make this box the width inside 2nd box.  Be sure it does blank out the outline of #2.


20.   Write in graduate’s name. Center name.  I use

21.   Create a  4th box like the 3rd.   Class of is

22.   2017 is




23.   Now  do the following
Click on the 1st text box. 
{CTL click} box #2.
{CTL click} box #3. 
{CTL click} box #4 
When all 4 are chosen,  choose Format, Group, then click on group


  
24.   Now you can move everything together as a group.  You can also copy it as one piece.
      
      25.   Copy and align into a document.  Print.
